Module 5: Adding Instructional Content
After configuring your course appearance, it is now time to add instructional content. The videos in this module will show you how to add your content in Moodle. Feel free to prioritize the videos in a manner that you feel will be most beneficial for your own Moodle environment.

Once you complete this module, you will be able to:

Add assignments based on the course syllabus

Create a self-graded (automatic grading) quiz

Create a quiz and share it with students to complete

Upload an instructional YouTube video in your learning module

Upload additional resource materials for students to access

Tasks

Add background information and instructional content for at least one activity

Create at least one assignment that relates to the appropriate course instructional content

Include a web feature that will allow students to submit their assignment online

Create a quiz that students can take at their own pace and insert it in the class assignment module

Confirm that the quiz outcomes are populated in the student grade sheet

Use the Edit Quiz button to create a new quiz

Access and/or use questions from the question bank (a collection of previously used questions)

Configure how quiz questions will be graded

Create two different layouts of the quiz and share screenshots of each

Create an instructional Youtube video that goes along with one of your activities

Add a YouTube video to one or more of the module activities you created

Use the “Add Activity or Resource” picker to add additional documents (e.g. excel file, word documents)

Add a description for the resource

Upload the material in the comment area
